Mr. Kuan Yap is the sole proprietor of Kuan Yap & Associates.

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and operates his own public practice situated near the Geenlane off-ramp of the SH1 in Remuera Auckland since 1998.

He serves his clients with dedication and attends to details, assume certain responsibilities that other practices normally charge for, and work closely with clients to help them maximise their potential so they could have more time in creating wealth and spend better quality time with their family and friends rather than boil down with back office routines and compliance works.

In accordance to his family tradition, he is also actively involved in a number of charitable organisations in the local community.

In particular, he is a Justice of the Peace for New Zealand and was awarded a Queen’s Service Medal in the 2012 Queen’s Birthday and Diamond Jubilee honours list for his services to the community.  Pictured above Mr Yap is with Jerry Mateparae, the then Governer General of New Zealand.

He is the Honorary Secretary for the New Zealand Guangdong Association Inc, and the New Zealand and China Association Inc. Furthermore he is a Council member for the Auckland Justices of the Peace Association Inc.

Additionally he serves in the Service Desk in the Remuera branch of the Citizen Advice Bureau.

These are all done on a voluntary basis with no expectation of payment from those people who is seeking help in one way or another as a way to contribute back to the community where he lives.
